Forced cache rebuild via tokenless admin request
Published Mar 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 28, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in DedeCMS 5.7 allows remote attackers to force an authenticated administrator's browser to rebuild caches. The sys_cache_up.php endpoint accepts a dopost=ok request without a request token or origin check and starts its cache-update workflow. A logged-in administrator must submit attacker-controlled content; the demonstrated consequence is a cache rebuild, not account takeover or code execution.
