Free-list deletion via forged administrator request
Published Mar 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 15, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in DedeCMS 5.7 freelist_main.php allows remote attackers to delete free-list entries through an administrator's browser. The endpoint accepts a GET request with dopost=del and an attacker-chosen aid and performs the deletion without a request-specific anti-CSRF token. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to load attacker-controlled content, and the demonstrated consequence is deletion of the selected free-list record.
