Unauthorized content-model creation via tokenless POST
Published Mar 13, 2024 · Updated Mar 13, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in DedeCMS 5.7 allows remote attackers to add a content model through an administrator's browser. The mychannel_add.php endpoint accepts a state-changing POST containing action=add and model configuration fields without requiring an anti-CSRF token. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to load attacker-controlled content, after which the forged request changes site configuration.
