Privilege escalation via task identifier SQL injection
Published Apr 24, 2024 · Updated Mar 27, 2025
SQL injection in PHP Task Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read sensitive data and escalate privileges through task_id. The task-details.php and edit-task.php handlers incorporate the task_id request value into database commands without neutralizing SQL syntax. Network access alone is sufficient; successful injection exposes database records and permits privilege changes.
