Out-of-bounds read in FreeImage 3.19.0 allows local users to crash a consuming process by loading a crafted HDR image. The case1795 sample reaches an out-of-bounds read in FreeImage_Unload after FreeImage_Load processes HDR data. Exploitation requires a local process linked to the library to load attacker-controlled HDR content; the demonstrated consequence is process termination.
