CVE-2024-28521Public exploit

Code execution via injectable login identifier

Published Mar 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 28, 2024

SQL injection in Netentsec NS-ASG Application Security Gateway 6.3.1 allows local users to execute code through the loginid parameter. The /admin/singlelogin.php endpoint processes the loginId query value as SQL syntax, as demonstrated by an authenticated request using loginId=1* and sqlmap. A valid PHP session and local access are required; successful exploitation exposes stored data and permits code execution with the gateway's privileges.
