CVE-2024-28520Public exploit

Arbitrary code execution via unrestricted file upload

Published Apr 4, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Unrestricted file upload in Byzoro Smart S210 Firmware allows remote attackers to execute code through uploadfile.php. The /Tool/uploadfile.php handler accepts a multipart PHP file and a caller-supplied destination path, permitting placement of an executable web shell under /home. The published request includes a PHP session cookie, while CISA rates privileges as none; exploitation is limited to appliances reachable on an adjacent network, but the authentication gate remains inconsistent across the public evidence.
