Local privilege escalation in MicroWorld eScan Anti-Virus 4.0.0.49 allows local users to gain elevated access via a kernel handle leak. ProcObsrvesx.sys exposes its driver device to every local user and leaks a kernel handle that can be repurposed from an existing process handle. Low-privileged local access is required, and successful abuse raises privileges on the Windows host.
