Null pointer dereference in SWFTools 0.9.2 allows attackers to crash swfc while compiling a crafted ActionScript source file. compileSWFActionCode dereferences address zero during a read at action/actioncompiler.c line 94 when the proof-of-concept input reaches the ActionScript compilation path. Exploitation requires local execution of the command-line compiler on attacker-controlled input; the CVE description names swfdump, but the published trace demonstrates swfc.
