Stored script execution via unsanitized filter comment
Published Mar 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in IP/Port Filtering in TOTOLINK X2000R firmware before 1.0.0-B20231213.1013 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts. The Firewall page stores the Comment field without neutralizing script markup and executes the payload when the filtering page is viewed. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access, an authenticated low-privilege session, and another user to revisit the page; script runs in that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
