Database disclosure and modification via untyped slice number
Published Mar 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in KnowBand spinwheel 3.0.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through an HTTP request. In SpinWheelFrameSpinWheelModuleFrontController::sendEmail(), a transaction lookup concatenates slice_no into an SQL WHERE clause after pSQL() without enforcing an integer value. The front controller accepts unauthenticated requests, exposing database contents and permitting data changes, deletion, or administrative takeover.
