Stored XSS via unescaped titleSize setting
Published Apr 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Stored XSS in Ninja Team WP Chat App before 3.6.4 allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through administrator settings. The AJAX design-settings action stores the titleSize value without sanitization or escaping, and the Design tab inserts it into page markup. Administrator access and a visit to the affected Design tab are required; the injected script executes in that visitor's browser, including when unfiltered_html is disabled.
