CVE-2024-28328Public exploit

Cross-session formula execution via unsanitized client names

Published Apr 26, 2024 · Updated Jul 9, 2026

CSV injection in ASUS RT-N12+ B1 firmware 3.0.0.4.380.10931 allows remote authenticated users to plant formulas through a client name. The client-name interface stores formula-leading input without neutralization, and CSV export writes that value into a spreadsheet cell. Router administrator privileges are required to plant the value, and a different user must export and open the CSV for commands to execute in that user's session.
