Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized date parameters
Published Mar 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2024
SQL injection in PHPGurukul User Registration & Login System 3.1 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data. bwdates-report-result.php inserts the POST fromdate and todate values directly into a mysqli_query date-range clause without validation or parameterization. An administrator session is required to reach the between-dates report; crafted values can expose or modify records accessible to the application database account.
