CVE-2024-28322Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated arbitrary SQL execution via interpolated event ID

Published Apr 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

SQL injection in PuneethReddyHC Event Management 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL through a crafted registration request. The backend/register.php handler interpolates the POST event_id value directly into an INSERT statement passed to mysqli_query without parameterization. The registration endpoint accepts the crafted POST without checking a logged-in session, and injection runs with the application's database privileges.
