Authenticated script execution via unescaped email parameter
Published Mar 23, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Cross-site scripting in offersmail.php in CampCodes Online Shopping System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via email. The handler places attacker-controlled email input into an HTML response without context-appropriate neutralization, causing the browser to interpret injected markup and script. Exploitation requires a logged-in attacker and a victim to render the crafted response; resulting script runs in the victim's application origin and can alter page content or access data available to that session.
