Stack overflow in pc_change_act in Linksys E1000 firmware 2.1.03 and earlier allows local users with administrative privileges to execute arbitrary code. Public sources identify the affected function but do not disclose the untrusted input or unsafe copy operation that overruns its stack buffer. Exploitation requires high privileges and local access to the router, and successful exploitation grants control of the firmware process.
