Authenticated file disclosure via external entity resolution
Published Mar 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
XML external entity injection in lakernote EasyAdmin 20240315 allows remote authenticated users to read server files via crafted report XML. The /ureport/designer/saveReportFile handler processes attacker-controlled XML without preventing external entity references from being resolved. A valid low-privilege session is required, and successful resolution exposes data readable by the server-side XML parser.
