Authenticated file write via file-argument traversal
Published Mar 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Path traversal in lakernote EasyAdmin 20240315 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write outside the report directory. The /ureport/designer/saveReportFile endpoint accepts a traversal-bearing file argument and resolves it without confining the destination to report storage. A low-privileged account and network access are required, and the bounded consequence is writing to an attacker-selected path.
