Bound-user configuration modification via tokenless POST
Published Mar 22, 2024 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in DedeCMS 5.7 allows remote attackers to modify bound-user data through /src/dede/mda_main.php. The bind_user action accepts attacker-chosen email, password, domain, and channel values from a POST request without a demonstrated anti-CSRF token check. Exploitation requires an authenticated DedeCMS user's browser to submit the crafted request, and the demonstrated consequence is an unauthorized change to the site's bound-user configuration.
