Unauthenticated webhook modification via missing access check
Published Mar 7, 2024 · Updated Sep 6, 2024
Missing authorization in nGrinder before 3.5.9 allows remote attackers to alter webhooks and obtain test data through crafted API requests. The WebhookApiController save method accepts a caller-supplied payload URL and creator ID without verifying authentication or ownership. No account is required; an outbound request and resulting disclosure occur after a performance test triggers the attacker-controlled webhook.
