Unauthenticated code execution via serialized Java objects
Published Mar 7, 2024 · Updated Aug 22, 2024
Unsafe deserialization in NAVER Corporation nGrinder before 3.5.9 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code over port 16001. The Connector.read method passes attacker-controlled network input to ObjectInputStream.readObject without an object-input filter. The listener is unauthenticated, bound to all interfaces by default, and exposed by the supplied Docker Compose configuration, enabling code execution with the controller's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
