Arbitrary method invocation via inherited public methods

Method-invocation injection in Hopsoft LLC TurboBoost Commands before 0.1.3 and 0.2.0 through 0.2.1 allows remote attackers to invoke unintended methods. Runner#command_valid? accepts any method recognized by a command instance, including inherited public methods, instead of restricting calls to methods explicitly defined by application command subclasses. Exploitation requires a consuming Rails application to expose attacker-controlled command names, and the resulting data access, modification, or service interruption depends on the invoked method and application authorization checks.
