Authenticated scan metadata disclosure via unchecked endpoints
Published Mar 6, 2024 · Updated Mar 28, 2025
Missing authorization in Jenkins AppSpider Plugin 1.0.16 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read scan metadata. Several HTTP endpoint handlers return available scan configuration, engine group, and client names without checking Item/Configure permission. Overall/Read permission is sufficient, exposing AppSpider deployment and customer context without permitting modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
