Command injection in Phoenix Contact CHARX SEC-3xxx firmware 1.5.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The update2-install endpoint passes its user-controlled filename parameter to a system call without validating command metacharacters. Access to web-based management is required, and injected commands run as the low-privileged user-app account.
