Router crash via unchecked WPS index
Published Mar 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 21, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC15 15.03.20_multi allows remote authenticated users to crash the router via an index parameter. The formWifiWpsStart handler at /goform/WifiWpsStart accepts an oversized index value without enforcing the stack destination's capacity. Low-privileged management access is required; the public proof of concept demonstrates a crash, while code execution is not established.
