Denial of service in Apollo GraphQL Apollo Router Core 0.9.5 through 1.40.1 allows remote attackers to exhaust memory via compressed HTTP payloads. The HTTP request path fully decompresses Brotli, gzip, or deflate bodies before applying limits.http_max_request_bytes, so small encoded inputs expand unchecked in memory. No authentication or user interaction is required; a highly compressed request can consume significant memory and interrupt routing service availability.
