Denial of service in GL.iNet router firmware allows remote attackers to crash session management through a crafted login username. Session management fails to handle usernames containing unmatched parentheses or brackets and crashes when the login interface receives them. The interface must be network-exposed and requires no authentication; the interruption prevents device logins, with no reported data impact.
