Arbitrary file overwrite in SolarWinds Serv-U 15.4.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to replace files via log output. The account logging configuration accepts unsanitized path tags and uses the resulting path as the destination for generated log output. A highly privileged Serv-U account is required, and successful exploitation can corrupt or replace files writable by the server process.
