Adjacent-network command execution via crafted web request
Published Mar 25, 2024 · Updated Mar 28, 2025
Command injection in web-interface handling in KDDI HGW-BL1500HM 002.001.013 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. Request handling for a specific web-interface URL fails to neutralize special characters before placing the supplied string in a command context. The attacker must have adjacent-network reachability but needs neither authentication nor user interaction; arbitrary commands can change gateway settings and operation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
