Authentication-attempt restriction failure in Hitachi Energy FOXMAN-UN and UNEM allows remote attackers to compromise targeted accounts. The published record identifies the UNEM server/APIGateway as accepting an arbitrary number of different passwords but discloses no function or request path. No prior access or user interaction is required; successful password guessing grants the targeted account access to other components in the same security realm.
