Insufficiently random WebUI sessions in NEC Aterm routers allow remote attackers on the LAN to change device settings without logging in. The WebUI session manager creates insufficiently random authorization values; public advisories do not disclose the value format, generator, or request sequence. Access must originate from the LAN side, and the reported consequence is unauthorized configuration change rather than WAN-side compromise.
