Unrestricted file upload in Genetech Solutions Pie Register 3.8.3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to write files to the server. The pie_save_registration function accepts registration-form uploads without validating file types or extensions. The flaw is reachable without authentication only when public registration and an Upload File field are enabled, and an executable upload can lead to code execution.
