Code execution via unsigned workflow templates
Published Mar 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Command injection in Nuclei 3.0.0 and later before 3.2.0 allows context-dependent attackers to execute code through an untrusted workflow. The workflow parser appended referenced code-protocol templates without enforcing the code-enabled and signature-verification checks applied to direct template execution. Execution requires an operator or SDK host to accept an attacker-supplied workflow and enable code templates, granting the template the host process's data access and command privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
