Shared-template lockout via unchecked privacy change
Published Mar 12, 2024 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
Missing authorization in SAP ABAP Platform 758 and 795 allows remote authenticated users to make shared job templates private. The job-template privacy operation accepts a business user's change from shared to private without verifying authorization for the selected template. A business user account is required; exploitation makes the selected template accessible only to its owner, disrupting shared access without reported disclosure or service interruption.
