User-sensitive data access via missing entitlement check
Published Jul 29, 2024 · Updated Apr 2, 2026
Information disclosure in Transparency across affected Apple operating systems allows local apps to access user-sensitive data. The Transparency component permits access without the entitlement check added to authorize it; Apple has not disclosed the accessed data or code path. A locally running app is required; affected releases are iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS before 17.5, macOS before 14.5, visionOS before 1.2, and watchOS before 10.5.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
