Memory disclosure in Apple AVEVideoEncoder before iOS and iPadOS 17.5 and macOS Sonoma 14.5 allows local users to expose kernel memory. AVEVideoEncoder performs an undisclosed unsafe memory operation when an app invokes the component; Apple has not published the faulty operation or input. Execution of an app on an affected device is required, and the reported consequence is kernel-memory disclosure without code execution or modification.
