Kernel memory-protection bypass via improper memory handling

A kernel memory-handling flaw in Apple operating systems allows attackers with kernel code execution to bypass kernel memory protections. Apple identifies the locus only as the kernel and has not disclosed the unsafe memory operation corrected through improved handling. Exploitation requires an existing kernel-code-execution foothold and affects kernel memory protections; no direct data access or service interruption is reported.
