Kernel code execution via oversized socket address copy

Kernel out-of-bounds write in affected Apple operating systems allows local users to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. The sbconcat_mbufs function copies an attacker-controlled socket address of up to 255 bytes into a 224-byte mbuf data field without a valid length check. A local app with no extra privileges can overwrite the next mbuf header on kernels built with CONFIG_MBUF_MCACHE, enabling kernel code execution or a kernel panic.
