Authenticated browser script execution via unescaped search input
Published Mar 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Cross-site scripting in CampCodes Online Marriage Registration System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script via searchdata. /admin/search.php renders the searchdata parameter into an HTML response without neutralizing script markup. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and a user to view the crafted search response, enabling attacker-controlled script in that browser.
