CVE-2024-27774Network attack vector

Sensitive firmware disclosure via hard-coded password

Published Mar 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Hard-coded password use in Unitronics UniLogic before 1.35.227 allows remote authenticated users to read firmware-embedded production data. UniStream device firmware embeds production information and protects access with a fixed password instead of a device-specific secret. Network exploitation requires authenticated access and high-complexity conditions; the published mechanism does not establish unauthenticated access.
