CVE-2024-27770Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via relative path traversal

Published Mar 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Relative path traversal in Unitronics UniLogic before 1.35.227 allows remote authenticated users to execute code on connected UniStream PLCs. Neither Unitronics nor the CNA identifies the affected request handler, file operation, or pathname field, so the concrete traversal locus is undisclosed. Low-privileged network access to the PLC is sufficient, and successful exploitation permits arbitrary code execution and full device control.
