Unauthenticated file disclosure via unchecked path parameters
Published Mar 5, 2024 · Updated Aug 8, 2024
Path traversal in Huayi Intelligence JeeWMS 3.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files without authentication. AuthInterceptor accepts paths beginning with /rest/, including /rest/../, while showPic joins unchecked code and path values to the upload base and streams the resulting file. The crafted request needs no account or user interaction, and successful exploitation discloses any file readable by the application process.
