Spreadsheet formula execution via unescaped asset titles
Published Mar 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2024
CSV injection in GLPI 10.0.12 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to plant formulas through crafted asset titles. CSV and SLK export writes the stored title without neutralizing spreadsheet formula prefixes, so spreadsheet software interprets it as a formula. Exploitation requires asset-creation or edit permission and a second user to export and open the file; resulting actions depend on that spreadsheet's formula and DDE settings.
