Stored script execution via Site Name field
Published Mar 1, 2024 · Updated Aug 29, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in CSZ CMS 1.3.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a visitor's browser through the Site Name setting. The application stores a Site Name containing SVG event-handler markup without neutralizing it before the Sites view renders the value. Execution requires a user to open that view; the script then runs in the site's browser origin with access available to that session.
