Local code execution via unrestricted PHP file upload
Published Mar 7, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Beijing Baizhuo Smart Management Platform S42 allows local users to execute arbitrary code through a web endpoint. The useratte/userattestation.php handler accepts a .php file in the web_img multipart field and stores it under /boot/web/upload/weblogo without blocking executable content. Exploitation requires reachability to the management interface; requesting the stored file runs attacker-supplied code under the web server.
