Database disclosure via unsanitized course fields
Published Jun 25, 2025 · Updated Jun 25, 2025
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Student Record System 3.20 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through course fields. In add-course.php, the cshortname, cfullname, and cdate values are concatenated directly into a mysqli_query INSERT statement without sanitization or parameter binding. The disclosure does not identify the request path or explain the user interaction required by CISA, so the practical access gate remains undisclosed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
