Unauthenticated code execution via hnap_main stack overflow
Published Mar 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 14, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link GO-RT-AC750 firmware 101b03 allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted POST request. The hnap_main request handler processes attacker-controlled POST data and overflows a stack buffer; public references do not identify the parameter or copy operation. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exploitation can compromise the router or interrupt its operation.
