CVE-2024-2763Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated memory corruption via unbounded mib_name formatting

Published Mar 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Stack-based buffer overflow in formSetCfm in Tenda AC10U 15.03.06.48 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via HTTP. The handler passes attacker-controlled funcpara1 to save_list_data, where sprintf writes a generated name into the 64-byte mib_name array without a length bound. A low-privileged web-management session is required; the public proof of concept demonstrates the overwrite trigger but not code execution.
