CVE-2024-2760Public exploit

Kernel-address disclosure via fixed-offset IOCTL response

Published Apr 23, 2024 · Updated Sep 5, 2024

Information disclosure in Bkav Home 7816 build 2403161130 allows local users to read a kernel address through driver IOCTL 0x222240. The BkavSDFlt.sys handler returns the absolute address of a global variable whose offset from the driver's module base remains constant. A low-privileged local account can use the disclosure to defeat address randomization for that module; no data modification or service interruption is reported.
